Parkland High School

Parkland School District is seeking a motivated and supportive Special Education Teacher Substitute for a Life Skills Classroom at Parkland High School. This is a short-term assignment from January 2027 through April 2027.

Certification: Valid PA Special Education Teacher certification

Preferred Experience/Skills:

Life Skills experience preferred

Secondary level experience preferred

Experience planning and implementing specialized programming for student needs

Experience with evaluation and reevaluation process

Experience with whole-group and individual Positive Behavior Support

Effective organization of ongoing data collections

Effective organization of paraeducator support staff to support student needs

Effective collaboration and planning with general education staff to support meaningful inclusion

Effective parent collaboration
