9th Grade Girls Basketball, Head Coach

The State College Area School District is accepting applications for a 9th Grade Girls Basketball Head Coach.

The Coach is responsible for providing leadership and guidance to student-athletes and assistant coaches as well as providing an overall vision for the 9th Grade Program. We are seeking positive, passionate, enthusiastic individuals who will not only instruct student-athletes in fundamental skills, strategy and physical training, but also guide and mentor them to be driven and responsible student-athletes and citizens.

The Head Coach reports to and works closely with the Varsity Head Coach to determine goals and direction of the program.

Both the PA Dept. of Education and the PIAA require specific safety and coaching training to include CPR/AED and First Aid. See the Athletics website for details.
