Bus Driver

Employee must be able to drive school bus while supervising students.

Employee must:

1. Be able to work with minimal supervision

2. Be dependable – report for duty on time

3. Perform daily the pre-trip inspection

4. Manage time efficiently – allow time prior to driving for pre-trip inspection

5. Use professional approach to interpersonal interactions with parents & school staff

6. Always make decisions putting the safety and well being of the students first

7. Respect the dignity, rights, and privacy of every child and staff member at all times

8. Maintain the cleanliness of the bus’ exterior and interior

9. Maintain strict confidentiality at all times

10. Complete monthly reports and maintain accurate student rosters and route description.

11. Bus driver must report maintenance issues promptly and be aware of issues such as oil change needed.

Other tasks as needs arise may be assigned by the Superintendent of Schools.

Start time: 6:45AM for morning route and 3:30PM for afternoon route.

There is a 4 hour minimum pay for pre-trip and drive time with the morning and afternoon routes.

Another 1.5 hours are available with the Ag shuttle. This route is with a 10-passenger van.
