ESS Daytime Waiver- Part Time Teacher 4 hpd (2026-2027) -Bullitt Lick Middle

This position is paid from ESS allocations and is funded for

the 2026-2027 school year only.

WAIVER Announcement: Interested applicants are encouraged to apply as soon as possible. Bullitt County Public Schools is requesting a waiver to fill this position before the standard 15-day posting period to ensure we are fully staffed for the upcoming school year.

Bullitt Lick Middle School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to serve as an ESS (Extended School Services) Daytime Waiver Part Time Certified Teacher Position. This position focuses on working with individual or small groups of students during the school day to provide targeted academic interventions and support. This position is for 4 hours per day for 64 days. Certified teacher preferred with math background to align with CSIP.

>Must have KY Middle School Teacher Certification in English/Literacy/Reading and/or Math.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide small group academic interventions in reading and/or math

Work with the ESS coordinator to align supports

Follow instructional plans developed by intervention coordinator and school teams

Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation

Analyze student data to monitor growth and adjust support as needed

Report student progress to teachers and leadership teams

Collaborate with teachers and support staff to meet individual student needs

Support a positive and encouraging learning environment

Position Details

Hours: 4 hours per day

Contract Length: 64 days per year

Contract Adjustments: Contracted days will be prorated based on the start date

Employment Status :Part time (not eligible for benefits)
