- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors as needed.
- Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners.
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, furniture, and fixtures as needed.
- Restock restroom supplies and maintain sanitary conditions.
- Ensure doors and windows are secured and lights are turned off at the end of the shift.
- Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or needed repairs to the appropriate supervisor.
- Properly use and maintain custodial equipment and cleaning supplies.
- Perform additional custodial duties as assigned.
- Previous custodial or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Dependable, punctual, and attentive to detail.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, bending, lifting, and operating cleaning equipment.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and properly handle cleaning products.
- Must meet Brown County Schools employment requirements, including applicable background checks.
