Food Service Cook - 6 hours per day - High School

Schedule :

The schedule is 7am to 1:20pm but can vary by daily school bell schedule. This is a 10 month school schedule position that works based on the MPS School Schedule . This position does not require working nights, weekends or Holidays.

Job Summary :

Preparing and serving food, operating a POS terminal, cleaning, sanitizing food service equipment and serving our customers in a friendly, efficient manner. Required to have ServeSafe Food Manager Certification and fill in for the High School Lead when they are out; which is 8 hours and at a higher rate.

Full Job Description

This position is part of the cafeteria workers bargaining unit. Salary $22.53 per union contract .

Positions will be filled by qualified bargaining unit members before outside candidates are considered. Outside candidates are encouraged to apply.

6 hours qualifies for pension and medical benefits are associated with this position.
