Food Service General Worker - 4 hours per day - Elementary - Multiple Schools Available

Schedule :

4 hours daily. The schedule is mainly between 9am and 1pm but can vary by school. This is a 10 month school schedule position that works based on the MPS School Schedule . This position does not require working nights, weekends or Holidays.

Job Summary :

Preparing and serving food, operating a POS terminal, cleaning, sanitizing food service equipment and serving our customers in a friendly, efficient manner. Required to have ServeSafe Food Manager Certification and fill in for the Elementary Lead when they are out; which is 6 hours and at a higher rate $24.03.

This position is part of the cafeteria workers bargaining unit. Salary of $17.48 during probation then $18.85 per union contract . Positions will be filled by qualified bargaining unit members before outside candidates are considered. Outside candidates are encouraged to apply.
