HEAD COACH GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

To provide overall supervision for all aspects of the sports program including but not limited to:

Select players for the team

Maintain team discipline

Maintain WIAA standards

Coaching individual participants in skills necessary to achieve excellence in sport

Modeling and encouraging good sportsmanship

Explaining eligibility requirements and participation rules to student athletes

Providing requested information to the athletics coordinator

Maintaining equipment inventory and upkeep

Scheduling practices

Overseeing safety; recordkeeping as required

Overseeing transportation arrangements for team members.
