Queen City High School is seeking a creative, dedicated art teacher who is passionate about helping students develop artistic skills, explore their creativity, and express themselves through the visual arts.

Qualifications

Must hold valid Texas teacher certification appropriate for teaching high school art.

Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to provide engaging instruction for students with diverse abilities and experience levels.

Responsibilities

Plan and teach art lessons aligned with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS).

Introduce students to a variety of artistic techniques, media, and processes.

Maintain a safe, organized, and supportive classroom.

Assess student progress and showcase student artwork.

Collaborate with campus staff and communicate effectively with families.
