Reports To: Building Administration

Job Summary

The Academic Coaches will work with Unit 5 students to instruct and guide them towards success in their particular programs. By maintaining a high quality program, the Academic Coaches will work to help the students under their supervision become well-rounded individuals. The Academic Coaches will maintain communication with the students, parents, and building administration.

Responsibilities:

Meet with students to prepare students for the necessary functions of the activity.

Supervise students at all times.

Work with outside companies and organizations when applicable.

Represent the school and district with integrity and respect.

Fundraise for desired causes and carry out expectations and responsibilities, as necessary.

Communicate with administration, staff, students, and families regarding expectations and calendar of activities.

Participate in scholastic competitions, as deemed appropriate.

Work with administrators and custodial staff regarding building use.

Distribution and collection of equipment.

Inventory and storage of equipment.

Setup and communicate with transportation when applicable.

Accurately manage budget money.

Monitor students’ grades during the time of the activity.

Other responsibilities related to specific activity.
