Job Summary
A proximal aide will work closely with one student who needs individualized assistance to safely and successfully participate in the school day. “Proximal” generally means the aide remains physically close to the student, based on the student’s individual needs and support plan. Must possess ability to relate with children or high school aged students and adults. Must demonstrate aptitude for work to be performed. Must possess skill and ability to work with at-risk and/or special needs students. Must possess computer literacy and ability to follow a structured schedule.
