North High School - Coordinate the overall Homecoming timeline, theme, planning meetings, and master checklist.
- As the Homecoming Advisor, works closely with Student Council and student leaders to plan and implement Homecoming activities.
- Supervise and oversee all Homecoming events and activities throughout Homecoming Week, including spirit days, powder puff, pep rally, homecoming Friday festival/ parade/events, fireworks, dance, and other scheduled activities.
- Coordinate staff, parent, and community volunteers and chaperon.
- Coordinate Homecoming ticket sales, schedules, signage, money collection, and required financial procedures.
- Coordinate the Homecoming DJ/entertainment, including contracts, payments, scheduling, and event-day logistics.
- Coordinate fireworks planning, vendor communication, safety requirements, and scheduling.
- Coordinate Homecoming decorations, signage, setup, and cleanup.
- Prepare and coordinate Homecoming announcements, social media, and other school communications.
- Work with administration, staff, volunteers, vendors, and facilities personnel to ensure events run smoothly and address issues as they arise.
- Maintain appropriate records, meet deadlines, follow district procedures, and maintain confidentiality regarding student information and Homecoming Court selections.
- Promote a safe, positive, inclusive, and student-centered Homecoming experience.

Position Overview
The Homecoming Event Coordinator/Advisor is responsible for organizing, coordinating, and overseeing the major components of the school's annual Homecoming celebration. The coordinator works closely with Student Council, administration, staff, parents, volunteers, vendors, and student groups to ensure Homecoming activities are well-planned, communicated, safe, and successful.
