QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification
High School diploma (transcript) or GED (transcript)
Only GED certificates obtained through a GED Testing Center approved by the GED Testing Service (GETS) will be accepted.
Valid driver's license
Have own vehicle
Individual recommended for the position must pay a $50.00 fingerprinting fee as part of the application process to be considered for employment. (Fee is subject to change.)
Special Knowledge/Skills
Knowledge of basic computer operations and skills
Ability to operate personal computer and educational software
Ability to conduct adult literacy classes
Effective organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well with parents
Ability to conduct public meetings
Bilingual-English/Spanish
Experience
Minimum of 3 years adult literacy instruction, preferred
