- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in education, psychology, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working with students with learning disabilities or in a special education setting is a plus but not required.
- Patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to supporting students with diverse learning needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and parents.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comprehensive training will be provided to the successful candidate to ensure they are fully equipped to support students effectively.
- Ongoing professional development opportunities will be available to enhance skills and knowledge in special education practices.
