NOTICE OF VACANCY
ELEMENTARY CAMPUS PART-TIME BEFORE-AFTER SCHOOL LEAD TEACHER
The Hayward Community School District is accepting applications for the position of Part-Time After-School Lead Teacher
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
- Bachelor's Degree in Education preferred, Associates Degree welcome to apply, Early Childhood Education Degree welcome to apply or equivalent
- Previous work experience with elementary school-age children necessary
- Experience assisting in planning and implementing parent meetings, special programs and outreach events to support the Hayward Community Schools.
- Understand the developmental stages of elementary age children and developmentally appropriate
practices.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with staff, parents and the
- Must possess exceptional technical/computer
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a fast-paced
- Effective oral and written communication
- Good judgment and decision-making
- Ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple
- Must have organizational skills for multiple learning areas and be self-motivated
- CPR, First Aid Certification, AHT, SIDS (obtain within 6 months of hire)
- Ability to lift 50 occasionally
Terms of Employment: Calendar-Monday-Friday, 20 hours per week--$18.48-19.82 per hour, following school calendar-185 days (M-F, 1:30 pm-5:30 pm)
