- Ability to foster and sustain students' interest in the activity and promote skill development.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
- To generate student interest in Track.
- Collaborate with student athletes on ways to improve and best foster a sense of belonging in a team environment.
- Direct, encourage, and motivate athletes to prepare them for competitions.
- Analyze the strengths and weaknesses of individual athletes and opposing teams.
- Plan strategies and choose team members for each competition.
- Work closely with other coaches and Athletic Coordinator
- Coordinate the issue and return of uniforms
- Maintain a record of athletes times and publicize the results of each meet in local newspapers (i.e., Concord Monitor).
- Write up results to be read by team members on school announcements.
