Phy Ed/Health Teacher Long Term Substitute

Position Summary:
Teacher will serve as a student-centered World Language educator who is a learner and warm demander for all learners. The teacher will establish collaborative & impactful relationships with colleagues, families, and students. Teacher will understand and model best instructional practices and ensure high levels of student learning. Candidate must have a learner, inclusionary, and equity-focused mindset and see that their presence has an impact with students and our school environment.

Qualifications:

-Valid MN PE and Health Teaching licenses .

-Student-Centered

-Commitment and belief around ensuring all students learn at high levels .

-Demonstrated use of research-based instructional and engagement strategies to meet the continuum of individual learning needs while using data and assessments to guide instructional decisions.

-Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and students to achieve student learning results.

FTE/Schedule: 1.0 FTE. Owatonna Middle School has a long-term substitute position open for Phy Ed/Health 10/21/26-11/16/26.

Salary: Based on candidate's education and experience per the OEA Master Agreement.

Eligible for Health and Dental Insurance (single or family) after 12 weeks of uninterrupted service as a long-term substitute for the same teacher or for any other professional covered by the OEA Master Agreement.
