Salary: Per SCEA Master Agreement

Direct Supervisor: Building Principal

REQUIREMENTS

Michigan Teacher Certificate

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution of higher education

Must be highly qualified and certified to teach in the State of Michigan and possess the necessary educational background and the Michigan teacher certification in Mathematics (EX 6-12)

Must possess the ability to deliver effective classroom instruction and management • Must possess a strong desire to work with students and their parents

Must possess a willingness to participate in a variety of extra-curricular and co-curricular activities including staff and curriculum development

Must possess a willingness to work as part of a building team for the improvement of instruction • Must possess a willingness to adapt to continuous change

Must possess excellent communication skills when engaging with students, parents, and colleagues • Must possess a demonstrated mental/physical ability and stamina for meeting the requirements of the position

Punctual, regular, & consistent attendance is required.

PREFERRED

• Certification in 6-12 subject areas.

FLSA Status: Exempt
