ASSISTANT COACH - High School Swimming

The Big Spring School District is seeking an Assistant Coach for the HS Swimming program.

Assistant Coaches

Each coach, because of his/her position, has the opportunity and responsibility to serve as a model not only for those participating in the program, but also for those assuming the spectator role. His/her actions, comments, speech, and general behavior will have a profound impact on the lives of the athletes with whom he/she is working, on those who aspire to be athletes, and on those who support the program as spectators.

The assistant coaches are directly responsible to the head coach and must follow his/her program.

All coaches must maintain a fair, un-prejudicial relationship with their players and have the physical and emotional welfare of the players uppermost in their minds.

The assistant coach shall report any major incident to the head coach and be familiar with emergency phone numbers and procedures.

The assistant coach shall be familiar with and follow all rules and guidelines in the Athletic Policy.
