Long Term CNA Substitute Teacher

Long Term CNA Substitute Teacher needed at Joseph A. Foran and Jonathan Law High School to cover a leave of absence from November 9th until approximately January 4, 2027.

Health Occupations Certification (103) recommended.

Pay is $145 per day for the first 30 consecutive days, then $283.92 from Day 31 until the end of the assignment.

There are no benefits associated with this position.

Performance responsibilities include:

Maintaining student records including attendance and grades.

Establish clear learning intentions and success criteria for learning

Utilize formative assessment to monitor and adjust instruction

Design and implement lessons that provide opportunities for problem-solving, creativity, and communication skills in relation to authentic real-world business situations

Monitor and evaluate students' progress in relation to curriculum expectations

Establishes and maintains relationships with students, parents, fellow teachers, school counselors, non teaching personnel, and administrators.

Participates in curriculum and other developmental programs as required.

Stays current with education and pedagogy and seeks opportunities to share professional learning with colleagues.

Maintain contact with area medical facility for the purpose of CNA clinicals.

Perform other duties as assigned or required.
