Twelve-Month Administrative Assistant - Human Resources

Seeking knowledgeable applicants with strong interpersonal and communication skills for permanent 12-month administrative assistant position.

Works 244 days – allotment of sick, personal and vacation days

Starting salary $18.25 / hr (2026-2027 school year)

This position reports to the Director of Human Resources located in the District Administration Offices.

Responsibilities:

Overseas applications for classified positions.

Assists with applicant administration and the collection of application materials.

Prepares confidential records and files for District professional and classified personnel.

Maintains and updates the district personnel information system.

Generates data for state and federal personnel reporting.

Schedules interviews with applicants.

Tracks and records clearances and required trainings for all district employees.

Prepares supplemental contracts and maintains records of supplemental positions.

Collects required documents from non-district and contracted employees.

Maintains employee confidential information.

Onboards new hires.

Performs clerical duties and data entry.

Acts as backup to other Human Resources support staff as needed.

Must pass district administrative skills test when scheduled.
