- Monitor and respond appropriately to seizure activity and other medical needs.
- Monitor environmental factors that may affect the student's health and safety.
- Monitor and facilitate feeding as needed.
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for the student.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, families, and other members of the student's care team.
- Communicate effectively regarding the student's health, needs, and well-being.
- Follow established medical care plans, school protocols, and applicable nursing standards.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Current CHRC approval from the Maine Department of Education.
- Experience working with children is preferred.
- Ability to provide compassionate, professional, and reliable care.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to respond calmly and appropriately to changing medical needs.
