Open Until Filled - High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Responsible for all general food preparation, serving, and sanitation procedures in a fast-paced environment.
- Assists with preparing vegetables, fruits, salads, sandwiches, and other menu items.
- Sets up hot and/or cold food areas.
- Performs cleaning duties, including sweeping floors, cleaning equipment and work areas, dishwashing, and pot washing.
- Ability to lift/move up to 30 pounds.
- Assists in receiving and storing food deliveries.
- Assists in serving of daily menu items to students in a cafeteria style setting.
- Cashiering experience desired, but not required.
- Demonstrate the ability to deal effectively and courteously with students, food service department staff, and school personnel.
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s.
- Performs other duties as requested by supervisors. Assist team members as needed.

Bloomfield Public Schools is accepting applications from qualified local candidates for the Food Service General Worker position at CREC Museum Academy.
Work Day: 10-month position 183 days (including 1-day training, school opening, and cleaning day). Daily hours are 3.75 per day/18.75 hours per week (10:15 am to 2:00 pm)
Hourly Wage: $17.61
