Assists in the supervision of Post-Secondary program activities and provides instructional support, as needed. Completes clerical duties such as attendance, entering grades in student management software, One Stop and DVR Training Grant timesheets, copying, and student portfolios.The position works under the direction and supervision of the classroom teacher, and Supervisor of Adult & Community Education as well as other designated certified personnel.
1. N.J. Cosmetology License Preferred
2. High School Diploma
3. Knowledge of and interest in the area to which assigned
4. Good oral and written communication skills
5. Meets the health requirements of all personnel
6. Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. Citizenship or legal resident alien status
7. Current residency in New Jersey, approved residency waiver or candidate agrees to obtain residency within one year of employment.

To develop in each student awareness and understanding coupled with the employment skills and knowledge applicable to the specific program; and to teach each student safe work
habits.
1. NJ Health & Physical Education certificate required
2. CPR and AED certification or willingness to obtain

4. Willingness to participate in Athletic Coaching and/or Extracurriculars Preferred

2 Evenings a week from October 2026 through April.
5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. plus paid prep time.
- Valid NJ Master HVACR Contractor’s License or four years of occupational experience.
- Occupational teaching experience preferred
- Meets the health qualifications required of all personnel

Substitute Custodians
- Low Pressure Black Seal Boiler License helpful but not necessary.
- Physical demands include use of ladders and extensive walking
- Aptitude/competence for assigned custodial responsibilities.
- May be exposed to and required to work during extreme weather.
- Hours may vary to fit the needs of the district.
- Applicants must hold a valid NJ driver’s license.
- Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
- Must be in good physical health with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
