- Master's degree or higher in Special Education, Educational Leadership, or related field required; minimum of 3 years of administrative experience in Special Education.
- Extensive knowledge of Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Georgia Special Education Rules, and compliance procedures.
- Demonstrated experience leading district-level compliance systems and teams.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and parents.
- Physical demands – position requires significant sitting, standing, walking along with limited bending, and kneeling. Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling will not normally exceed thirty (30) pounds, and will usually be ten (10) pounds.
