Lakes Area Enrichment Center has an opening for a child care aides. Child Care Aides assist Lead and Assistant Teachers in providing instructional and supervisory support to children enrolled in the Lakes Area Enrichment Center program. This position is available full-time (40 hours/week, 12 months/year) with a starting rate of $16.11-$19.90/hr, depending on qualifications. Responsibilities include assisting with lesson plan implementation, participating in daily activities, maintaining safety and security, preparing materials and snacks, and fostering positive relationships with children, staff, and families. Required qualifications include teamwork and communication skills, prompt and reliable attendance, and the ability to perform physical tasks associated with child care. Current First Aid and CPR certification is preferred, but candidates may obtain certification within 30 days of hire.
