Elementary 31A Instructional Aide

Work Year/Hours: 10 ½ Months – 8:15 a.m. – 3:45 p.m.

Up to 7 hours plus 30-minute lunch/day

Location: Dort Elementary

Start Date: Immediately

Salary: $16.97 - $18.44 per hour in 3 Steps

This position is based on the availability of Grant Funding and is a year-to-year position.

Minimum Qualifications:

Successful experience working with students

Ability to accept and work with a wide range of student behaviors

Good physical health

Record of excellent attendance

Such additional or alternative qualifications as may be determined by the Board of Education

Sample Qualifications:

Work at the direction of the teacher to assist and supervise students

Assist with management of student behavior

Assist in lunchroom program

Assist in reinforcing programs set up for special problems

Dispense medication as may be assigned

Perform other duties as may be assigned
