PROJECT DIRECTOR – SAMHSA PROJECT AWARE GRANT

260 DAYS PER YR/ 8 HRS PER DAY

5 YRS ONLY (DEPENDING ON FUNDING)

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Public Health, Social Work, Health Administration, Human Services, or a related field. - REQUIRED

Master’s degree in a related field. - PREFERRED

Experience managing a large-scale federally funded grant- PREFERRED

Experience with SAMHSA grants, SPARS, behavioral health screening/intervention programs, and/or tribal behavioral health services. PREFERRED

3 years of progressive experience managing public health, behavioral health, education, human services, or similar programs.

Demonstrated experience with federal grant administration, compliance, and reporting, preferably under 2 CFR Part 200.

Experience overseeing school-based mental health, behavioral health, youth wellness, or related clinical programs.

Demonstrated experience supervising multidisciplinary staff and managing program budgets.

Strong experience developing and maintaining partnerships with schools, healthcare providers, community organizations, and/or tribal entities.

Knowledge of MTSS, behavioral health, prevention, early intervention, and crisis response.

Strong leadership, communication, organization, project management, and data reporting skills.

Ability to work effectively with diverse and culturally responsive communities, including tribal and Hispanic/Latino populations.

Ability and willingness to travel as required by the grant.

RCW 49.58.110 REQUIREMENTS

Yearly Salary Range: $140,000
