Payroll Coordinator

Qualifications:

Have earned a high school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Have a minimum of five years of successful experience in a related payroll or pension position.

Demonstrate excellent skills utilizing district payroll and personnel systems.

Ability to keep records on payroll deductions, salary changes, new hires, terminations via automated payroll system.

Have the ability to process timesheet for the purpose of overtime, and other additional programs.

Maintain and update all payroll wage garnishment files.

Maintain and update payroll tax shelter files.

Have the ability to extract data from payroll software for monthly and quarterly reconciliations.

Exhibit a personality that demonstrates interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff, administration, parents and the community.

Demonstrate the ability to read, write, speak, understand, and/or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the duties of the position.

Perform any duties, responsibilities that are within the scope of employment, as assigned by the Payroll Director.
