Assistant Business Administrator

NOTE: This position is a shared service between two districts.

Qualifications:

NJ Business Administrator Certification

Demonstrates knowledge of school district laws and regulations related to budgeting, purchasing, and other business office functions

Three years of accounting experience in computerized accounting, including general ledger, financial statements, payroll, and state reporting

Experience in accounts payable (or accounts receivable)

Experience with Payroll, preferably Systems 3000

Experience with accounting software and online platforms

Operational-level office skills including typing, word processing, filing, copying, calculator use, basic recordkeeping

Good communication skills and telephone manner

Ability to maintain confidentiality

Satisfactory health status as certified by a physician

Requires criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship
