Full Time
Grace Christian Academy is seeking an energetic long term sub to cover a High School History opening. This position is full-time from date of hire - December 18, with the possibility of the position transitioning to full-time building sub. Salary is dependent on the candidate's experience and skillset. This teacher would cover four high school history classes in the area of American Government. A curriculum is provided as a guide, but hands-on, project based, and innovative approaches are preferred. Substitute would be responsible for lesson planning and grading.
A successful candidate will have:
A strong Christian testimony and relationship with Jesus Christ
A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in education
A desire to work in partnership with other teachers on staff as well as parents/families for the good of the student
