Highly Qualified in specific areas as required by the New Jersey Department of Education.
- To effect desired student learning as prescribed by the mission and vision of school district.
To provide the approved educational program and perform such duties as may be required to maintain the effectiveness and efficiency of the school district operations.
- Plans lessons that strive to meet the individual needs, interests, and abilities of all students.
- Creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students.
- Guides the learning program toward the achievement of district and school goals and objectives.
- Employs instructional methods and achievement in accordance with established standards of proficiency.
- Promotes student learning and achievement in accordance with established standards of proficiency.
- Assess the accomplishments of students on a regular basis, keep appropriate records, and provides progress reports, as required.
- Confers, as necessary and desirable, with parents/guardians.
- Identifies the learning needs of students on a regular basis, seeking assistance of district specialists, when appropriate.
- Assists in curriculum development, in the selection of books, equipment and other instructional materials, and maintains required records.
- Attends staff meetings and serves, as appropriate, on staff committees.
- Assists in upholding and enforcing school rules, administrative regulations, and board policy.
- Maintains professional development and growth.
- Maintains ethical and professional behavior in working with students, parents, school personnel and other agencies.
- Performs duties which are within the scope of his/her employment and certification as assigned by his/her supervisor in accordance with N.J. State Law, State Board of Education Rules and Regulations, Deptford Township Board of education policies, and contractual obligations.

TITLE: LONG TERM SUBSTITUTE - PREK FLOATER TEACHER
This assignment is starts as soon as possible and is guaranteed at least 60 days. The assignment has the potential to be extended, possibly the full school year.
The daily rate for this position is $225(w/ Substitute Certification) or $342.85-$367.85(w/ NJ Teaching Certification based off degree status).
