Int ervention Specialist

Duration: 2026/2027 School Year

Location: To Be Determined

Work Hours: 5 ¾ hours/day (plus ½ hour unpaid lunch)

Principal will establish hours to maximize coverage

Salary: $150.00/day

This position would be ideal for current students seeking experience in a classroom. No experience necessary.

Qualifications

Preferred: Certified teacher endorsed and highly qualified in reading/language arts or mathematics.

Alternative: Meet MDE requirements as a substitute teacher and aptitude in language arts or math.

Ability to work with students in small group or classroom settings.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Record of reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

Work with or at the direction of classroom teacher to provide guided instruction, tutoring and remediation.

Perform other duties as may be assigned.
