General Cleaning:<!__TgQPHd|||[]__> Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums floors, carpets, and stairs. Dusts furniture, walls, whiteboards, and equipment.<!__TgQPHd|||[]__> <!__TgQPHd|||[]__>

Sanitation:<!__TgQPHd|||[]__> Cleans and disinfects restrooms, drinking fountains, and high-touch surfaces daily. Restocks paper products and soap dispensers. <!__TgQPHd|||[]__>

Trash Removal:<!__TgQPHd|||[]__> Empties trash cans inside the building and manages cafeteria waste disposal during and after lunch periods.<!__TgQPHd|||[]__> <!__TgQPHd|||[]__>

Grounds Maintenance:<!__TgQPHd|||[]__> Sweeps entryways, picks up debris around sidewalks, parking lots, and play areas.<!__TgQPHd|||[]__> <!__TgQPHd|||[]__>

Building Security:<!__TgQPHd|||[]__> Secures and locks doors, closes windows, turns off lights, and sets building alarms at the end of shifts.<!__TgQPHd|||[]__> <!__TgQPHd|||[]__>

Safety Compliance:<!__TgQPHd|||[]__> Follows guidelines under the Texas Hazardous Communications Act<!__TgQPHd|||[]__> regarding the safe storage, labeling, and handling of cleaning chemicals and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).<!__TgQPHd|||[]__> <!__TgQPHd|||[]__>

Setup and Maintenance:<!__TgQPHd|||[]__> Moves furniture and assists in setting up equipment for school assemblies, meetings, and special events. Reports maintenance repair needs via work order systems.<!__TgQPHd|||[]__>

Qualifications & Requirements<!__TgQPHd|||[]__>

Education:<!__TgQPHd|||[]__> High school diploma or GED preferred, but many districts accept equivalent work experience.<!__TgQPHd|||[]__> <!__TgQPHd|||[]__>

Certifications:<!__TgQPHd|||[]__> Valid Texas driver's license or state ID may be required.<!__TgQPHd|||[]__> <!__TgQPHd|||[]__>

Physical Demands:<!__TgQPHd|||[]__> Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, and lift or move heavy objects weighing up to 50 to 100 pounds<!__TgQPHd|||[]__> .<!__TgQPHd|||[]__> <!__TgQPHd|||[]__>
