POSITION: Junior Varsity Softball Coach
Ogemaw Heights High School

QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Possession of high school diploma or G.E.D

2. CPR/AED Certification

3. Ability to effectively relate and communicate with students, staff, and parents

4. Ability to maintain confidentiality

5. Ability to effectively establish and maintain discipline

6. Ability to implement a strength and conditioning program

7. Willingness to supervise weight training in and out of season

8. Ability to perform under stressful conditions

9. Personal flexibility in fostering a team-oriented culture and environment

10. Possession of organizational skills

11. Coaching experience preferred

12. Ability to meet all MHSAA requirements

13. Willingness to support and implement the Varsity program’s approach to the game

EFFECTIVE DATE: 2026-2027 School Year

SALARY: Per Supplementary Services Pay Schedule, 6%

REPORTS TO: Athletic Director
