Special Ed Teacher

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor ' s or Master ' s Degree;

Valid Texas Teaching Certificate;

Knowledge of rigorous teaching strategies and curriculum;

Proven success at planning lessons and presentation;

Must be skilled at differentiating lessons;

Ability to disaggregate data and utilize it;

Must be computer literate;

Organizational skills required;

Proven classroom management skills;

Prior classroom teaching experience preferred;

Excellent interpersonal skills; and

Proven rapport with staff/students.

SALARY: Board approved pay scale

CONTRACT: 187 days
