Under the direction of the Principal, provides an educational program to students with moderate to severe disabilities, and may exhibit emotional disturbances of such severity that satisfactory progress cannot be expected in the general education classroom.

Accepting Applications for the 2026-2027 School Year Bridging to Extensive Support Teacher (previously known as Moderate to Severe Disabilities Special Education Teacher) Qualifications Valid California Education Specialist Credential in Moderate to Severe Disabilities Bachelor's degree, including all courses needed to meet credential requirements Completion of student teaching or two years of full-time elementary classroom experience Thirty (30) semester hours beyond bachelor's degree or Master's degree or equivalent preferred
