- Provide one-on-one support for students with diverse learning needs.
- Assisting with communication, social skills development, and daily living skills.
- Monitor and manage student behavior to ensure a positive learning environment.
- Implementing behavior interventions as directed by a BCBA or special education teacher.
- Collecting data on student behaviors and progress.
- Strong interest in working with students and making a positive impact in their educational journey.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team spirit.
- Patience, dedication, and a passion for education.
- At least 60 college credits or have taken and passed the ParaPro exam.
- Per The Collective bargaining agreement between the Brookfield Board of Education and the United Public Service Employees Union Brookfield BOE Paraeducators Local 424- unit 134
- $28.41 per hour worked
