Open until filled - Effective professionalism and management of the Wrestling program which would include, but not limited to: scheduling, planning, organizing, in-season and off-season training, budgeting, safety and promoting the Wrestling team and Grand Valley Activities Department and CHSAA.
- Demonstrate productive coaching strategies, skills and knowledge of Wrestling and Field/fitness/training.
- Establish solid communication and build quality relationships with student participants, parents and the community in general.
- To assist the student athlete in the areas of academic excellence and eligibility and provide an atmosphere of personal growth.
- A genuine commitment to Grand Valley High School philosophies, students, staff, and surrounding community.
- Create and support program purpose in participant intellectual development, agency, productive citizenship, and personal wellness
- One to three years of coaching experience.
- Skills related to coaching, teaching, recruiting, and mentoring athletes.
- Knowledge of CHSAA rules and regulations.
- Knowledge and management of sports related injuries.
- Teaching Credentials preferred.

Grand Valley High School is seeking applications from candidates for an Assistant Wrestling Coach for the winter 2026 season. This is a part-time, seasonal, salaried position located in Parachute, CO. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
